Account Manager- unravel the mysteries surrounding human behaviour

Even though we already are the world leader in eye tracking, and can boldly state that most of our products are world firsts, we’re not content. We are looking to extend our team with another Account Manager to grow our business in the UK & Ireland region. Your primary focus will be to offer customer the unique value of eye tracking research helping create awareness of eye tracking as a research tool to both new and existing customers and markets.

You will work together with our fantastic team based out of our office in Reading, UK and travel throughout the UK and Ireland to interact with our customers. 

The role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of our world leading eye tracking technology solutions and services to academic institutions, industrial and commercial companies. You will be involved in the entire sales cycle, from first contact to establishing long-term client relationships and help evolve accounts over time. You will also represent Tobii Pro at trade shows and conference and present and explain our range of innovative products to potential customers. 

We are looking for someone who has

  • Ideally a degree in business studies, economics, behavioural science, marketing, statistics, psychology or similar. We rate real world experience as strongly as academic qualifications so if you don’t have a degree but come with bags of experience then we definitely want to hear from you!
  • A good grasp of technical products and the ability to transfer this knowledge to customers, colleagues, and development teams.
  • Experience with eye tracking during education or work, alternatively at least three years of work experience with B2B sales.
  • Great presentation skills and a consultative approach with customers.
  • Excellent English language skills are required. Additional languages are a bonus.
  • A doer attitude and an organized mindset.
  • A passion for building long term relationships with customers.
  • An insatiable curiosity for innovating, trying new ideas and overcoming obstacles. 

We find it to be a strong merit if you have experience in eye tracking and in selling into or working with universities. If on top of that you have been working with academic grant bodies, government entities, FMCG or major research companies you might just have us jumping up and down with excitement!
