As our new Account Manager you will create awareness for eye tracking as a research tool to new customers with the goal to adopt eye tracking into their research methodologies.
You will be responsible for sales of our world leading eye tracking technology solutions and services to academic and medical / non-profit institutions in the German region. With a primary focus to offer unique, value adding research opportunities to new clients within the German speaking markets with a focus to cover the South German market states covered Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Baden-Württemberg, Bayern, Sachsen.
The role and responsibilities
As our Account Manager you will have a vital role as you are a first impression to our customers representing Tobiis portfolio of eye tracking research tools. One of our largest customer groups within the Scientific and Medical Research segment is universities and researchers and it´s important for us to make sure they will be successful and know how to ad eye tracking tools to their work.
You will take care of the entire sales cycle, from first contact to establishing long-term client relationships and the first step in the process will be to close business opportunities and make our customers be successful in their research studies. We also want you share our innovative products with the public at trade shows and conferences – onsite as well as online.
In this role it´s crucial that you understand our customers and translate their needs into matching research solutions! Reaching sales targets while strengthening business networks will also be essential to your position and our business is fast paced, challenging, and rewarding.
You will work together with Account Managers spread over Europe, and with Sales Operations and Marketing based in Stockholm. You will get the chance to work from home or the office in Frankfurt and report to the Sales Director GmbH in Frankfurt.
We are looking for someone who has
- the minimum requirement of a graduate degree or commercial education in business, psychology, engineering, marketing, neuroscience, or similar field
- sales experience is expected
- a technical understanding and the ability to transfer this knowledge to customers, sales colleagues, and development teams
- experience with eye tracking during education or work is a bonus
- presentation skills and a consultative approach with customers
- strong interpersonal skills
- character traits like being structured, organized, and having a strong personal drive
- excellent German and English language skills
We find it to be a strong merit if you have worked with B2B sales, Salesforce, and have experience in selling into or working with universities, non-profits or government entities, alternatively FMCG companies. If the idea of work travel sounds like fun, then this might possibly be the opportunity for you (typically up to 50%). We are also very team oriented and hope you can appreciate that approach.
