Windows System Developer

The Middleware team design, implement and maintain middleware software which communicates with the eye tracker hardware and is used by other Tobii teams and external customers. The team have a central part of the Tobii organization and provides software that enables other teams that build game integrations, work-life features and other applications to utilize eye tracking. As a developer you will be taking Tobii’s business to the next level, raising the bar for what is technically possible with eye tracking. You will be joining a great group of people and together develop core eye tracking technology. Sounds fun, right?

Now it’s time to strengthen the team with an experienced developer with a focus on MS Windows!

The role and responsibilities

Your days will be filled with 

  • Working together with the team to design, build and maintain middleware software: services and client libraries for Tobii Eye Tracking on Windows.
  • Being responsible for software deliverables to other Tobii teams and external partners as well as technically supporting internal and external users.
  • Solving challenging and rewarding development tasks in tight cooperation with colleagues.
  • Implementing new functionality, automated tests as well as maintaining code.

We are looking for someone with

  • At least 3 years of working experience in C and C++ development 
  • Experience in Windows IPC and WINAPI: named pipes, shared memory, asynchronous I/O and multi-threading
  • University degree

If you, on top of this, have knowledge in development on other operating systems, like Mac OS or Linux, that’s a big plus.
