HR Specialist to Tobii - Systems, Comp & Ben, Global Mobility

The right person for this job is mainly not into leadership development, coaching or value driven organizations. This is the role for you who want to create the motorway and infrastructure in our organization, rather than handling traffic jams. And it is you, only you who will make this happen – you will be responsible from idea to administratively doing it!

Tobii as well as the HR department is in a maturity state where we work to align our policies, systems, processes and ways of working between countries and business units. It is a fine balance act. We of course want to get many synergies in what we do, but what is even more important to us is to have an entrepreneurial mindset and making sure we work close to the business challenges.

The role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be a specialist in the infrastructural areas of the HR department. You will need to be an integral part of the team, driving and owning your areas in an independent and passionate way – but always in close collaboration with the HR Partners globally. You will have strong stakeholders all over the world and have one of the most exciting work environments that can be offered to a self-driven doer with a strong facilitating mindset.

Your days will be filled with

  • Owning our global HR-system - developing, implementing new modules, educating HR and managers as well as nagging, making small adjustments as well as answering the same question ten times from an organization trying to learn. 😊 All Tobiians live in Tobii Town, and you will be the Mayor!
  • Owning all aspects of global mobility, from our policy and process to the transfers and coordinating the transfer processes with managers, employees and vendors.
  • Being our savior in compensation & benefits, someone who has these questions close to their heart and being able to spread this competence across the team members.
  • Occasionally, we are in larger organizational structure processes, looking at setting up new offices in new countries, due diligence processes etc. and see this role also embracing that.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a professional background from one or several of the following areas: HR-systems as administrator, global mobility, a modern payroll department and/or compensation and benefits.
  • has worked extensively in one or several HR-systems. Not necessarily as administrator but you must be a proficient user at least.
  • has experience from a global organization, used to work with colleagues from different countries and cultures.

We find it to be a strong merit if you have worked in Sage People as HR system and if you already have had the administrator training.

Since you have worked within above area/s you are an administrative star, keeping all details in place, wanting to make things properly from start. You do have a strong interest in systems. It might not sound that glamorous, but you strongly feel that healthy master data is the key to meaningful analysis.

As a person you have a strategic ability but roll-up-sleeves attitude. To be a star in our organization, you need to be a non-hierarchical “go getter”. You decide what is possible, you don't get side-tracked by circumstances. You have a networking personality and get buy-in from your stakeholders. You are patient and like to teach.
