International Account Manager - Assistive Technology

We are looking for an Account Manager to grow our sales in the Baltics and Eastern Europe!

The role and responsibilities

Working out of our headquarters in Danderyd, Sweden, you will be responsible for developing and growing our sales in a region which is currently in an exciting and expanding phase. You will look after existing local distributors and their sales and technical staff and make sure they are trained, supported and encouraged to achieve our targets. The Account Manager will be expected to develop and grow sales using their own and reseller’s efforts and to create awareness and demand for our solutions for different user-groups within multiple segments such as Assistive Technology, Special Education, Hospitals and Rehabilitation. 

As our account manager you will work with a varied audience – Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Special Education Teachers, Doctors, consultants, opinion leaders, family groups and most importantly end-users of our solutions. 

Your days will be filled with

  • Working with local resellers and partners to grow sales
  • Evangelizing and spreading awareness and knowledge to the end-user communities, professionals and resellers with our cutting-edge solutions
  • Attending selected local tradeshows and conferences
  • Initializing and attending local workshops and training events
  • Training resellers’ sales staff and support technicians
  • Find and develop new resellers in new markets and segments
  • Driving the product and software agenda for your region internally at Tobii Dynavox

The role requires about 50 travel days per year.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Excellent business acumen
  • Strong sales-track record and skills
  • Minimum 3 years from hardware or software sales in preferably in the medical or education sector
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Technically proficient
  • Holds a higher degree in business, engineering, health or education 
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge in a major regional language such as Russian or Polish is a plus but not required

To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to be a driven, positive, pro-active and action-oriented individual. You have strong wok ethics and is a true problem solver. While experience in the assistive technology, healthcare or special education sector would be beneficial and regarded as a plus, it is more important to us to find the right person for the role.
