The Role and Key Responsibilities
Tobii North America is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Inside Sales Associate to join our Inside Sales team. This team specializes in providing eye tracking systems and research services to businesses interested in understanding consumer attention and behavior. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Accountable for maintaining and growing book of recurring revenue (Upgrade, Warranty, Support, Subscription contracts)
- Ability to emphasize product/service features and benefits, create quotes, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
- Make follow-up calls to prospects and existing clients via telephone to clarify requests and to confirm missing information such as contact information and research application
- Develop existing accounts by building rapport, providing technical information, and assisting with customer requests
- Create sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential leads as well as re-engaging existing prospects
- Identifies trends and sales opportunities by analyzing and summarizing prospect inquiries and orders
- Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
- Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects by penetrating existing accounts to radiate sales from within via cross-sell/up-sell
- Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events as necessary
- Ongoing corporate database maintenance and cleanup
- Maintains and improves quality results by following standard practices and recommending improved policies and procedures.
- Updates job knowledge by studying product portfolio and participating in educational opportunities
- Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed
- Explore opportunities to excel beyond standard job expectations
You will report to the Inside Sales Manager and/or Director of Inside Sales and work closely with multiple departments.
As the ideal candidate, you are energetic, highly organized, and have strong personal drive. It is critical that you have solid “people skills” and are willing to learn a lot about technology, research, and the business goals of your customers. You enjoy working in a very dynamic and fast-growing company, where you not only have a great amount of influence, but also have considerable responsibility and high expectations with regard to results, achievements, and setting your own initiatives. You have experience in business-to-business sales, solid salesforce skills, and an aptitude for technology.
Minimum and preferred requirements for the position:
- 2+ years in sales related role, inside sales/customer engagement a plus
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Salesforce
- Pardot, Linkedin Navigator a plus
- Occasional travel
- Manual dexterity to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Oral and written proficiency
