HEALTHCARE REIMBURSEMENT INTERN

The Healthcare Reimbursement Internship is open to current college students and will be responsible for assisting the reimbursement department. This position will be responsible for some day-to-day operations within the Funding and Intake teams as well as project and research work. The internship may be part time or full time and is a short-term position for a three-month period.

Your days will be filled with

  • Updating state Medicaid resource guides using Microsoft programs
  • Assisting in the preparation of team training and resource materials
  • Assisting with the updating of Standard Operating Procedures within Master Control System
  • Activating new funding packets within the Order Management system
  • Assisting Funding Consultants in case follow up in the pursuit of completing the order
  • Conducting time studies of various tasks within the funding process

To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to be a positive go-getter.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A minimum of 6 months of college in Healthcare policy, Communication Disorders, Health Administration, or equivalent field

Skills needed to be successful in this position:

  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Ability to work with interruptions.
