The Senior Director of Sales Operations role functions as the “right hand” to the Market Unit President with responsibility for managing the overall operations of the North American sales. The role functions as the glue ensuring all things from strategy to reporting actually happens. Personally, through the own team and indirectly via non-reporting teams and resources the role is fundamental in forging collaboration between departments to provide a seamless customer experience.

Our Pittsburgh, PA office is located just minutes from “Dahntahn” Pittsburgh and here you will be working with more than 200 happy Tobiians in the most dynamic and friendly environment in all of Pennsylvania. We have everything from design, development, production, and customer service and support right here on site so whatever question you have, you will find the answer in house!

Your days will be filled with:

  • Hands-on engagement in creating the best possible conditions to execute on set targets and strategies
  • Analyze complex data and translate into action steps including deliverable timeline for organizational sales targets.
  • Design forecasting metrics and prepare reports on relevant sales patterns.
  • Prepare and automate an effective sales process including policy guidelines.
  • Understand and share current and future market trends by collecting and maintaining data.
  • Streamline a solid workflow for capturing and maintaining a pipeline of business relationships.
  • Review and prepare annual budget; compare actual to budgeted results at the end of each reporting period, report on significant variances.
  • Design compensation, commission structure and administration procedures.
  • Reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually) on sales progress and attainment to goals highlight gaps or opportunities for leveraging.
  • Build business cases within industry standards to determine possible outcomes and risks.
  • Oversee business intelligence team findings and determine business model direction.
  • Development of effective sales strategies, call plans, territory alignment.

To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to be driven toward organizational improvement.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years operations management experience in a commercial setting
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Healthcare industry experience meriting

Skills needed to be successful in this position:

  • Ability to articulate sales strategy through verbal and written communication
  • Able to communicate at all levels within an organization
  • Understand complex data
  • Effective collaboration in team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • CRM platform (Salesforce experience meriting)

Strong analytic, adaptability and interpersonal skills needed. We prefer if you have supported a company through rapid growth.
