We're currently looking for QA Engineer to work in the centre of Tobii, the SW core team!

The Software Core team works in our shared services department. In this team, we are responsible for the foundation on which teams build their product. This gives you a unique opportunity to work on all our products and it puts you on the right trajectory to learn the entire Tobii stack and architecture. We enable value to be built incrementally and efficiently in the SW platform by providing the necessary expertise in SW architecture and infrastructure.

Role and Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will work within a cross-functional team with a focus on QA aspects. You will work on our PDK (platform development kit), the software that enables all our eye tracking capabilities. Our team is responsible for the architecture and future development of the PDK and our products.

Example of a day in the life of a QA Engineer:

• Identify and implement best practices and tools that improve the product quality
• Find ways to improve developer/tester experience and reduce overheads for the project teams
• Implement and create automated tests and enhance test framework features.
• Design and improve continuous integration pipelines
• Participate in pair programming sessions
• Helping with code review
• Evaluate new tools and technologies, after all, we are also RnD!

To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:

• At least 3 years of experience with software development and/or software testing
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related discipline
• C++ programming skills
• Python programming skills
