The Copywriter is responsible for conceptualizing and executing creative concepts and copy that communicates to the different Tobii Dynavox target audiences in the most effective way.  The position will require hands on writing and creative thinking as part of a team, alongside an art director. The role will also support and reinforce the established Tobii Dynavox brand standards through copy and creative work.

We have everything from design, development, production, customer service and support right here on site, so questions are resolved in house. You’ll also find a team of colleagues that enjoys taking time out of their busy days for cornhole tournaments, nacho bars and volunteering in the community.

Your days will be filled with

  • Developing and maintaining our brand story by writing clear, compelling copy across all media platforms, including:
    • Web and digital assets
    • Print material
    • Social media
    • Digital advertising
    • Trade show materials
    • Video scripts
  • Working as a member in a creative team of copywriters, designers, art directors and developers led by our creative director to ensure details of all marketing materials are executed appropriately
  • Interpreting briefs and generate strong creative concepts
  • Collaborating and contributing ideas with the team
  • Managing third party vendors such as translators, production companies
  • Performing various other duties as assigned

To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to be a positive go-getter.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing or Arts
  • 5+ plus years of professional marketing experience, required
  • 2+ plus years of ad agency or in-house experience, preferred
  • Copywriter experience required, either with an ad agency or in-house
  • Understanding of online marketing fundamentals, including SEO, preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to content and deadline changes on the fly
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
  • Flexible, service-oriented, and works independently
  • Some flexibility in work hours to accommodate for time zone differences

We find it to be a strong merit if you have knowledge of SCRUM.
