In 2008, my research advisor bought a Tobii T120 eye tracker to study infant visual memory development. Throughout my graduate training, I also used a Tobii eye tracker. I would always stop by the Tobii booth at conferences and learn about what was new in eye tracking.
In 2016, I was finishing my dissertation and on the job market. I had a phone call with my account manager about our Tobii system. I asked him if he knew of any jobs, and he said, "You should come work for Tobii - you'd be perfect for our academic team." So I did - and now I work with him!
Personal relationships mean everything. Feel free to send me a message to chat more. Tobii is a great company and I love what we do.
