Job Summary

Then, come join the Americas Sales team at Tobii as our new Director of Product & Digital Sales.
Direct Reports:
This is a sales director role, with multiple direct reports, including matrixed employees totaling approximately 10 people, represented by both inside and outside sales functions.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Americas Region Vice President
Work Location:
US East Coast Remote, with an ability to travel to Reston, VA monthly.
Role and Responsibilities
As Director of Product & Digital Sales, you will lead a team of both inside sales resources as well as outside sales account managers in support of Tobii’s Products & Solutions business across many industry verticals, including academic research, medical research, user experience, and training & assessment. You will work with your team to engage prospects to highlight the benefits of Tobii, analyze customer requirements, define solutions that solve customer needs, and deliver transformative value to the industry. You will define more automated and efficient ways of reaching customers to demonstrate this value and achieve sales quotas.
You will also:
- Motivate and develop a large team of inside & outside sales representatives who will deliver efficient revenue and profitability growth, measured against key sales metrics.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales goals for both inside sales and outside sales Account Managers, with a strong focus on Salesforce CRM metrics and dashboards.
- Build an end-to-end B2B e-commerce sales strategy that will simplify the sales process of complex technology products.
- Accurately forecast future sales and deliver monthly executive reports inclusive of customer and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain a digital sales motion that reaches customers efficiently, while demonstrating value and creating sales prospects.
- Partner with the regional marketing team to ensure marketing campaigns effectively reach new prospects.
- Create and effectively monitor a highly disciplined lead pipeline with a focus on conversion
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong motivation, customer orientation, and executive communication skills
- A passion for holding yourself and your team accountable for results.
- Proven Salesforce CRM expertise, with expertise in defining, measuring, and reporting key sales pipeline and lead management metrics.
- 5+ years of prior working experience leading large teams as a sales director, paired with a minimum total of 10 years of progressive sales leadership success in various sales positions.
- Expertise in implementing & growing a B2B e-commerce platform strategy.
- A passion for sales efficiency with creative ideas that will establish a robust digital sales motion while maintaining high customer engagement and satisfaction.
- A collaborative and inspirational leadership style that motivates salespeople to exceed targets, including leadership of both inside and outside sales resources.
- Committed and willing to travel ~10-25% of the time, including some international travel.
