Being an IT Support Specialist at Tobii:
As an IT Support Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for all things IT. You’ll ensure smooth day-to-day operations by providing support to colleagues across the globe. From managing user accounts to maintaining conferencing systems, you’ll play a key role in keeping our tech running seamlessly.
This is a dynamic, people-facing role that requires strong communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a drive to continuously improve processes.
Here’s what your normal day looks like:
- Be the first point of contact for IT support via tickets, calls, chats, and walk-ins
- Manage user accounts and onboarding/offboarding processes
- Troubleshoot issues connected to operating systems and Microsoft 365 tools, Provision devices using Autopilot, Landscape, and JAMF
- Maintain and support meeting room equipment
- Visit the Brașov office as needed to deliver on-site support
- Maintain accurate asset records
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts to ensure performance and reliability
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles to empower self-service
- Continuously improve IT processes
To succeed in this role, we would love you to have:
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Defender, Active Directory, and Entra ID
- Familiarity with Linux and MacOS environments
- Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with incident, problem, and change management
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
