Application Specialist (Salesforce)

Based at our HQ in Stockholm, our new Application Specialist (Salesforce) serves as the technical owner of our Sales & Marketing application services, with a primary focus on our CRM system, Salesforce.
As an Application Specialist (Salesforce), a week could look like this:
- Consult business requesters on the best technical solution for their requirements, together with other colleagues at Global IT and consider the bigger picture in the overall system / data landscape and impact on the business
- Resolving incidents, service requests and problems for our business applications as 2nd / 3rd level support
- Collaboration with the IT Core Infrastructure and IT Operations teams to install, configure, maintain, restore, or upgrade business applications
- To prioritize, develop, test, deploy, communicate, and document changes and releases
- Ensuring that application permissions are set up on a need-to-know/use basis and perform access control reviews. Ensure that we have the proper licenses for all our users
- Supporting service owners in defining strategies how to develop our application services further
- Occasionally manage projects and support the rest of the IT team by contributing to projects
- Work together with software vendors or consultants to resolve incidents or change the applications
- Documenting your business applications, ways of working and best practices
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct education for end users, with a focus on how to use our applications
Our humble expectations from you:
- Proven experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Flow
- Very good knowledge of business applications and their system architecture (e.g. CRM, ERP, communication & collaboration tools, HR systems), integrations, processes, best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, Economics or similar
- Possess good business analysis skills: identify business requirements, consult stakeholders, find solutions with them
- Have excellent English language skills verbal and written; able to communicate clearly towards users and colleagues within Global IT
- Demonstrate agile way of working and data literacy
