Senior Electronics Engineer at Tobii
As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Tobii, you’ll be involved in a variety of tasks across the full product lifecycle. Your work will include development of new products, supporting customer integration projects, and maintaining and improving existing products.
When developing new products, you will be part of the entire process, from early concept and prototyping to test fixture design and preparing for mass production, working closely with other disciplines to ensure the final product meets both technical and user needs.
What your day might look like:
- Circuit design including simulations, component selection and schematic capture
- Layout of high speed and high-density circuitry on space constrained boards
- Lab work including prototyping and hands-on testing
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Participate in design reviews of both internal and customer implementations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Documenting your work
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, optronics and system engineering
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders such as production, sourcing, suppliers and customers
To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
- Master in Electronics or similar
- 5 years’ work experience in similar role
- Proficiency in ECAD tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD or similar
- Comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment
- Great communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
It’s a merit if you also have experience in - Altium Designer
- HDI PCB design and/or Flex-PCB design
- Cameras/MIPI CSI, LED drivers, low power design
- Signal integrity and EMC/EMI considerations
- Experience from compliance and pre-compliance
- Familiarity with scripting and/or firmware development
- Jira, Confluence, PDM
